Museums in Florence
Florence has an extremely rich Renaissance heritage and is unique in terms of artistic tradition. In fact, the entire city is practically an outdoor museum. According to UNESCO, 60% of the world's most important works of art are in Italy, and around half of these are in Florence!Stupefying aesthetic wealth, gorgeous paintings and sculptures can be found everywhere.
The Uffizi and Galleria dell'Accademia are only two of the most well known museums in the city (though certainly the two you can't miss!). Florence has much more art to offer!
