  • Donatello, The Renaissance, Palazzo Strozzi and Musei del Bargello, March 19th - July 31st 2022

From 19 March 2022, Fondazione Palazzo Strozzi and Musei del Bargello host "Donatello, the Renaissance": an exhibition that aims to reconstruct the extraordinary career of one of the most important and influential masters of the Italian Renaissance.

  • The Weather Station, Sala Vanni, June 8th 2022

A year after the release of 'Ignorance', an album appreciated by both the public and the critics, Tamara Lindeman, frontwoman of the Canadian band The Weather Station, will present live her latest effort 'How Is It That I Should Look At The Stars', released on 4 March.

  • Firenze Rocks, Visarno, June 16th 2022

Firenze Rocks will return in summer 2022. Confirmed in next year's line-up: Green Day and Weezer on Thursday 16th June, Muse on Friday 17th June.

  • Yves Tumor, Disco_nnect music - Anfiteatro delle Cascine Ernesto De Pascale, July 10th 2022

Yves Tumor, a deconstructionist of music genres (ambient, sound collage, art pop, post-industrial...), will be in Italy for three live dates in July: Soliera (Modena), Florence and Rome.

  • Sons of Kemet, Anfiteatro delle Cascine Ernesto De Pascale, July 22nd 2022

Sons Of Kemet, Britain's most successful jazz quartet of Shabaka Hutchings, Theon Cross, Edward Wakili-Hick and Tom Skinner, will play live this summer at the Cascine Amphitheatre.

  • Easter Day 

" Lo Scoppio del Carro" - "Explosion of the Cart"  Piazza del Duomo 10AM 

An Easter tradition dating back centuries. We suggest getting to the piazza as early as possible because you will find a huge crowd of both Florentines and tourists.

  • Liberation Day - April 25th

Celebrating the day that Nazi occupation came to an end in Italy towards the end of the WWII. Enjoy an annual ceremony and concert in Piazza Signoria among other events dedicated to those who fought all around Florence and Italy in general.

  • Festa di San Giovanni - June 24th 

Celebrating Saint John, the patron saint of Florence, you can expect to see crowds and a lot of events happening all around the city including Calcio Storico (the final game) during the day and the famous fireworks taking off from Piazzale Michelangelo at night.
