Music Festivals, Concerts

  • Disconnect <code>,  Sala Vanni, 27 January - 28 April 2023

Disconnect <code>, the Florentine music festival dedicated to electronics, returns with four unmissable dates: it kicks off on January 27th with the long-awaited live performance of Louis Carnell, a multidisciplinary artist active on the legendary Mute Records. He has chosen Florence's Sala Vanni as the stage for the first-ever concert of his new, still largely unreleased project. On the 3rd of March, it's the turn of Marina Herlop, a classically trained Catalan singer, composer and pianist who last year released “Pripyat”, one of the finest experimental music records of 2022. VISIO, alias of the musician and visual artist Nicola Tirabasso, will perform for Disconnect <code> on March 31st. He is a multidisciplinary artist that investigates and explores the arcane tangents between reality and the unexplainable in his works. The music festival, on April 28th, is closed by Loke Rahbek & Frederik Valentin. Their work with projects such as Croatian Amor, KYO and Lust For Youth has already established them as two of the most interesting musicians in Denmark in the field of experimental electronic music.
