The exhibition examines how Henri Cartier-Bresson's work is perceived by five different curators, focusing particularly on the ‘Master Collection’, a selection of 385 images that the artist himself chose in the early 1970s, upon the request of his friends and collectors Jean and Dominique de Menil, as the most significant of his work.

La Biennale di Venezia, on the 125th anniversary of its foundation, hosts the exhibition "The Disquieted Muses. When La Biennale meets History" which will be held at the Central Pavilion of the Giardini della Biennale from Saturday 29th August until Tuesday 8th December 2020, realized by the Historical Archive of the Biennale - ASAC.
