Fast Food in Florence

Florence is rich of typical Florence fast food restaurants and stands where you can eat delicious Florence typical food like lampredotto & trippa panini (cow stomach sandwiches - they're good - trust us they are things to eat in Florence!) and even excellent 'Pizza al taglio' (pizza by the slice).

You can recognize the 'trippai' (cow stomach sandwich vendors) by the white/blue color of their small motor-trucks parked in various parts of town where they cook typical food to eat in Florence. Enjoy our list of Fast Food in Firenze

Florence “Fast Food”: the complete list

All’Antico Vinaio

Via Dei Neri 65 R Ph. +39 055 23 82 723 /+39 349 3719947 (for reservations at their other locations)

On one of the busiest streets in the center you will find this popular sandwich shop. Don't expect to find a place to sit down, but rather a long line to get one of the biggest and best panino's to-go. Pair it with a little glass of wine and find a place to stand around outside. Choose one of the sandwiches already designed on their menu or simply choose the ingredients yourself. Anything goes!

La Divina Pizza (facebook page)

Via Borgo Allegri 50R   Ph. +39 055 234 7498

Only using natural mother yeast, La Divina Pizza, creates the best selection of pizzas to choose from. You can eat there if you like, but there's not much space, or you can take your pizza home with you. The beauty of La Divina is that you can choose a number of different pieces so that you are able to try more than one, if not, all of the pizzas they offer that day. You can even choose the size that you want and you will be charged based on the weight of each piece. They always have at least some classic style pizzas to choose from, but include also the best combinations of ingredients to create styles you haven't seen anywhere else.

I Fratellini

Via dè Cimatori 38/r  Ph. +39 055 239 6096

Around for 140 years and counting! Serving up simplicity in the best way. Choose one of their numbered sandwiches on their menu (my favorite is goat cheese and sun-dried tomatoes!) hanging by the door and you will have your sandwich in no time (literally)! Pair it with a glass of wine and you can hang around I Fratellini to enjoy your lunch while people watching.

Antico Noé

Volta S. Piero 6/r Ph. (+39) 055 2340838

Open daily from noon to 3:30 pm and from 7:00 PM to 11:30 PM. Closed Sundays.

Under the arch between the Piazza G. Salvemini and Via dell'Oriuolo this small Italian-style fast food sandwich shop (near the restaurant of the same name) is perfect for the students who are looking for something other than a pizza or 'prosciutto and fontina' burger. The atmosphere is all around similar to the tiny streets of Naples... Very folkloristic! The average price of a sandwich is about 4 Euro. Expect long lines of Italian and foreign students who are already addicted to the mythical Antico Noé sandwiches.

La Ghiotta

Official website

Via Pietrapiana, 7

Open every day from noon to 11:30pm. Closed Mondays.

A restaurant with fast service and low prices. Try a lasagnapizza or spaghetti at La Ghiotta just once, and you'll forget the globalized flavors of McDonald's forever!!! Expect long queues around 1pm and 8pm. Affordable prices and take away available. Unforgettable tiramisù.

1950’s American Diner

Via Nazionale corner Via Guelfa Phone (+39) 328 82 86 117

Open for lunch 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM, except Saturdays. Open for dinner 7:00 PM to 1:00 AM, all week.

North American '50 atmosphere. Giant American hamburger and salty fries (around 10 Euro, no limit on toppings). American pints of beer (around 3 Euro). With less than 15 Euro you can live a perfect retrò USA-style night in Florence! If you feel nostalgic, don't miss this place!
