La Reggia degli Etruschi official website
The Restaurant "La Reggia degli Etruschi" is located in Fiesole (Tuscany) very close to Florence in a relaxing and panoramic place. This typical and exclusive restaurant offers its guests the best traditional "Cucina Toscana" (Tuscan "cuisine").
The restaurant is also an "enoteca" (a winery) where you can taste Tuscan wines recognized worldwide such as Solaia, Brunello di Montalcino, the fabulous "Super Tuscans", and many others that could accompany your traditional tuscan dinner in Fiesole, while immersed in the magic of the Florentine hills... definitely not to be missed!

Via Borgo San Lorenzo 33/35/37r, Florence
Phone & Fax +39 055 21 22 06.
The restaurant is placed in an old open gallery of the 16th century, where there was a small market. It was born after the 1920 and at the time was called 'Old Tavern'. In the last years it expanded a lot with the typical Florentine cuisine, based on country traditions.
Here you can find 'the original Florentine beefsteak', the restaurant pride. Other local foods are available too, such as the 'Florentine tripe', the fried and other dishes. It is also a grocery shop where typical products can be bought. Possibility of on-line reservation

To introduce it we have decide to publish an article from the Financial Times...
Enjoy the reading and don't miss this place during your stay in Florence!
Teatro del Sale – “Kitchen theatrics” (Article by Colin Cameron :: Financial Times)
What a performance. Watching diners scramble for food at Teatro del Sale in Florence, you might think those plundering what is laid out on a main table, buffet-style, are rushing to make a curtain call.
In fact, they are. In 2003, master chef Fabio Picchi opened the doors of an old Florentine theatre
having, through innovative refurbishment of a site that began life in the 14th century as a convent,
installed a kitchen and created enough space for tables and chairs to accommodate up to 99 diners.
Now traditional Tuscan food is served every night. At the end of the meal patrons rearrange the
furniture so that all are facing the stage and enjoy an evening of music or entertainment.
Waiters take orders for only wine. When it comes to food, you simply wait to hear the chef, visible
behind windows to the kitchen, shout through a hatch what's next up on the communal table. First,
steaming trays of saffron risotto and pasta, followed by skewered chicken and beef girarrosto and,
finally, dessert of cake and cream. Like the mainly local crowd, you must embrace the first-come,
first-served regime. Manners may maketh the man but they can leave you hungry here.
The prospect of entertainment restores order. After dessert, the kitchen, which is at the back of the
theatre, shuts and guests lift tables aside and move chairs to create the theatre stalls. Then the lights
dim. On my visit, a trio of guitar and flute players took to the stage to deliver magical Mediterranean
sounds. On another night, it could be folk music, poetry, political satire or stand- up.
Teatro del Sale sets the city standard for value. Once a fee for annual membership - €5 on the door for visitors like me - has been paid, €25/€30 for as much as you can grab to eat is no drama.

This Restaurant is recommended by the StudentsVille staff! We eat in this restaurant twice per year and everytime the choice of food is greater and the quality always high! Enjoy this place!
Description published in their website:
When you arrive in Piazza Mercato Centrale, you can't miss the scent of the "stufato"!
And if you just raise your eyes and see a house or "casina", behind it will appear a beautiful little shop or "botteghina".
The name is "ZàZà", where you eat like a king!
But the chairs are only a few and the only one missing is you!
As soon as you turn that door knob you will feel anything but a snob.
As a first course there is farro or pasta and Chick-peas.
The food is decent, served well and with ease, there is stracotto, agnello, cacciucco (like Bouillabaisse) and if I'm not mistaken you've got quite a tired face.
If all of this does not suit your taste no worry, we'll grill some beef in its place.
Would you like the dish called "Migliaccio" oh is it good with those raisin and pine nuts a chestnut torte that is served ice cold or "ghiaccio".
A little Vin Santo and Cantuccini?
You turn away?
Well, we're certainly not stupid, if you weren't happy at ZàZà you're an ignorant soul so leave the place, out you go!
