In 'yellow' paking places cars can be parked paying a low rate for the first 90 minutes but a real high rate for each successive hour (around 5 Euros). Finally int the above ground guarded car parks there is a fixed cost for the first 2 hours and another (higher) for each successive hour. From 7.30 p.m. to 7.30 a.m. parking in the ZCS overnight and in the 'yellow' parking spaces is possible paying a rate using the 'gratta e sosta' tickets available from various sales points. There are also special rates for tourists at the Parcheggio del Parterre (Piazza della Libertà) e Parcheggio della Calza (Porta Romana): the rates are pre-fixed for 24 hours, overnight (6 p.m. to 9 a.m.) and for a week. Parking at the Parcheggio del Parterre from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. will give you the possibility of renting an electric car.
