Whether you are looking to eat out for dinner or aperitivo,
Sèsame is the perfect fusion of chic
and unique. As the only French-Moroccan fusion restaurant
in Florence, the eclectic Moroccan décor is
enhanced by low-lights, dripping candles,
hookahs, and persian carpets. Both
patio and terrace offer a refreshing outdoor
dining experience, while owner Osvaldo Mellini
and staff ensure the best service to Sèsame’s
varied clientele. 
Every month the best fresh wines and ingredients
are personally brought from both France and Morocco
so that chef Said Badri, originally from the Moroccan
luxury hotel Mamounia, can create exotic and tantalizing
dishes. Choose from a variety of culinary achievements
such as, "tartare di tonno con crema
di zucchini", "fresh chopped tuna in
a zucchini cream sauce", and "cous cous
poissan with fresh fish". For dessert, you may try
a rich soufflé al cioccolato and a
glass of authentic Moroccan wine.
Sèsame is not only a fantastic
place to enjoy the tranquil ambience and
order some of the most unique meals in Florence,
it is also a meeting place for both locals
and internationals to take pleasure in cocktails
and aperitivo while listening to live music.
The restaurant is open every evening while on certain Wednesdays
it also becomes a full bar where one may find live
music and a themed event. When purchasing
a cocktail for seven euro each guest is invited
to partake in the festivities and enjoy a filling array of appetizers
such as risotto and pasta.
