ISIA (Higher Institute for Artistic Industries) is a State school at University-level and included in the Institutes for Higher Artistic Training. It teaches design in its widest terms, ranging from products to communications.

The school was founded by the Ministry of Education in September 1975 to continue the rich and fruitful teaching experience of the first industrial design courses. Isia is a modern school projected towards innovation and, over the years, its quality has been confirmed by numerous acknowledgments especially at an international level.

Teaching is based on experimental methods and strongly characterized by practical experience in the laboratory. Students wishing to enroll must first pass an entrance exam test and only 30 places are accepted per year. Attendance is obligatory.
